Operation Summer Dawn

Thursday, June 1st, 2006 at about 4:49 am

haha that sounds like such a pansy name. anyways.

I think it’d be cool to get together for an airsofting event on like the first few days of summer.

Again it might be at Jerry’s or my place. Date and Location still pending.

Hopefully we can get a buncha pple. Lotsa GBB handguns right now. Also the AEGs, Wayne’s G36k and James’ AUG.

but yea, leave a comment or mesage on the tagboard for any comments, suggestions or weird stuff. prefferably not the weird stuff.

Oh and a friend of mine that is on a sponsored airsoft team told me that since he is sponsored, he is only allowed to use bb’s from the company that sponsors him, and at a recent Operation, OP LionClaws, he was given a free bag of 5000 or 3000 .25 g bbs and he’s not allowed to use them, so he’ll probably give them to me. SUWEET. So if anyone, probably the GBB pple who need it most, needs heavier bbs, then try some of these when I get them. THey should be more accurate but will slow down your FPS.

If you don’t have an airsoft gun but want to airsoft, try to find someone you can borrow a gun from. I’ll put up a link talking about the responsibilities of airsofting and all that good stuff.

We do want numbers as far as attendance, but we also need responsibility, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm to get some good airsofting sessions.

Take care everyone. God bless you. Jesus loves you all!

Walkie Talkies

Wednesday, May 24th, 2006 at about 3:37 am

Hello fellow airsofters of God!

yea this is jerry, and i just want all of you to know how useful walkie talkies are on the “battlefield”

when wanting to talk to someone on your team to start firing, but don’t want to give off your position, you could either……

  • jump up and down screaming, and flailing your arms around like a person that ate a tofu that was way to hot…
  • or throw a rock ….. ( and knock them out cold)
  • or use a walkie talk headset to secretly and quiet ly talk to them….. without giving off your, or thier position…

BUT  ARE W.T. TOO EXPENSIVE FOR YOU?

Not Now! because my broadcasting teacher is offering to sell us a set of 4 walkie talkies that have come right out of a box and only been used once….. for a SUPER low price of only $50!!!!!

if you are intersested talk to Me (jerry) at Church, to further our knarly airsofting foundation….

Also be sure to take time and read these senarios, cause if you are coming to Oregon, or memorial day, you have to know these rules!

To “kill” an opposing player…..
To kill, you get them to surrender or to hit them with a bb. Dead or alive. When you have someone surrounded, you can ask them “Dead or Alive” and they give you a response. If they say dead then they surrender and you let them leave the battlegrounds. IF they say alive or try to fight their way out, then you can shoot them until they say dead. If you are tired you can surrender by holding up your gun in the air, but having your goggles or eye protection stil on. THEY ARE ON AT ALL TIMES NO MATTER WHAT until the game is over. Also you can sneak up behind them and have a gun at them point blank. Then ask them dead or alive. That usually convinces them to lay down arms. Whatever the method, you just get them to surrender. People can be shot like a million times and still be alive, but they’re probably really strong and can endure that time and pain so they deserve to still be in. This game is based on pain and stamina. I sound like a nerd but whatever those are the rules.

Battle field
The place we’re playing at is probably a canyon by Jerry’s. It’s a long and decently wide path, and has trees on both sides. Going in, the left side is just a strip of trees and behind the trees is open fields, good for chases or other battles. There’s a ravine in the middle of the open field and is pretty fun trying to get through or cornering a team or person. Back on the path, The right side is just higher ground, and trees, and behind that is fences and houses and private property.
The path is the main place for most of the action.

Scenarios:
Also, we’ll probably be playing the following scenarios for the people who don’t already know.
In every scenario, the game is over when everyone in a team is dead. Except target bombing. (read the directions) scenarios are :

All out war.
Two or more teams. Basically it’s like a war or gang war or something. You try to kill people on the other team. eliminate their team and win. can be also played with “dead or alive” rules.

President and assassin
There is one team, the Presidential protection team. Depending on how many people are playing, there will be about two or three body guards. The bodyguards are usually the people who have the more powerful guns. The president (Usually Wayne) usually has a spring handgun. That’s pretty much all he needs besides quick feet. The rest of the people will be assassins. They position themselves In the trees usually to ambush the president. Sometimes they’ll charge or go around to attack from behind the presidential team. The point of the game is for the bodyguards to get the president all the way to the end of the path. They don’t have to stay on the path, they can go around the trees, through the ravine, in the open fields, wherever they like. They just have to get the president through. once the president dies, game over, assasins win. but if he does get across, game over…. presidental wins.

Bomb
We will have an alarm clock or watch alarm as the bomb. If you have played Counter Strike before, then you’re pretty familiar with this scenario. Two teams, counter terrorist and Terrorist. There will be a bomb location and the terrorists have to bring a bomb that they have to the bomb location and detonate it. The counter terrorists have to kill them all or defuse the bomb once it’s been set. To plant the bomb the terrorists have to put the alarm clock or whatever is the bomb down and set the alarm to go off in about 3 minutes. Then they have to yell out that the bomb has been set. We might need a referee for this game. The terrorists now have to defend the bomb. Once the bomb has been set the kill rule is changed to one shot kill. this can be played with swat gear ( aka smoke bombs, and tear gas) and is a one-shot-kill rules.

Hostage
Possibly we might play hostage. You all pretty much know what hostage is. Bad guys have some hostages and the good guys have to kill the bad guys and/or rescue the hostages. bad guys keep the hostages for a certain amount of time and/or kill all good guys. or if you are really mean, you can use the hostage as a body shield…. just kidding….

 Battle royal (also called…. suicide)

okay, Battle royal, or suicide, is played by every man for themselves…. this game has only two rules….. rule one: Shoot all the others, and don’t get shot….. and rule two…. don’t shhot too close ( point blank)….. and every man just playes until thier either die, run out of gas/ ammo, or give up. this is a fast game, intended for a quick warm-up or a last minuite game. people with or mini-elctrics, tend own at this game. even though other high power, fast hitting guns also own….. but is always seemed to seem that…… they ….. always win….

randomness

Wednesday, May 24th, 2006 at about 12:00 am

Albs and Dan(me) - GBB Desert Eagles .50 AE

Jerr, Jason and Patrick - GBB 1911 .45 ACP

Wayne and James - AEG AUG and G36c  5.56×45 (.223 Nato)

That’s the arsenal right now? haha.

and I’m running out of green gas.. I might order more +spare mag, but probably not the mag. I was shooting stuff in the backyard with friends from LA.   :)

GBB guns, use .2 or preferably .25 g bbs. AEGs try with .2g bbs.

Summa’s comming…..

Yep.

Saturday, May 20th, 2006 at about 4:44 am

Well. End of the year nearing. It’s friday night and I thought it to be a productive activity to make another post here. SO.

How are y’all?

We need to go camping. And eat marshmallows.

Excuse my randomness. I’m kinda  just hyper after a basketball game.

So.

Anyone seen any good movies lately?

Focus time.

Thursday, April 27th, 2006 at about 12:51 am

Hey everyone. I understand the year is drawing to a close, with several weeks of school left. That means STUDY HARD! Don’t daydream about airsofting, or be distracted, though you guys probably don’t cuz you’re all bright intelligent people that work hard. :) Our next event will probably be in the summer, seeing that we have no more District wide holidays until Summer. I’ll plan one as soon as possible this summer. Hopefully we’ll get a huge turnout. Smoke bombs and stuff will be much more effective (and fun). If Jerr’s planning on doing any events at his place, it’s up to him. I’d say he’s probably smart enough to buckle down for this last stretch until summer when we can all indulge in all the 6mm bbs we want to be shot at us.

Work hard everyone. Stay strong.

2006 LYA Spring break Airsofting

Thursday, April 13th, 2006 at about 10:05 am

Another day of successful airsofting. Awesome day. Wonderful weather too.

Let’s start with the guns.

Sig Sauer P226. Spring. Brandon’s handgun.

Beretta M9. Spring. Pat and Jerr had like 25 of these. Standard sidearm?

Heckler and Koch G36. Spring. Brandon’s rifle. I didn’t see him use it as much though.

M16 (customized). Broken stock. Spring. Jerry’s.

870 Shotgun. Spring. single shot. Jerry. once again, customized. Broken handle and stock. In my opinion he should have kept them on. haha. Pretty decent. Should try to use .2 g bbs in that thing.

Colt 45 or 1911. Gas blowback, semi automatic. Whatever you call it, it’s a beauty. Too bad I don’t have better pictures of it. Full metal, blowback, full ejection port . It’s a very sturdy gun. Patrick’s gun. man it was nice.

This lovely lady is a IMI .50AE Desert Eagle. Gas. Hardkick, blowback, full ejection port. ABS plastic, full metal mag. MY gun.

Steyr AUG. Fully automatic assault rifle. AEG. James’ gun. Very very sweet. Pretty accurate and the bursts can be deadly through bushes. Got killed by this gun a couple times, underestimating it. haha.

Now to the players bios.

Jerry Chen.
Weapons- Shotgun and M16.
Sidearm- M9.

Brandon Chen.
Weapons- HK G36.
Sidearm - Sig Sauer P226

Patrick
Weapons- 1911
Sidearms-Beretta M9

James Chang
Weapon- Steyr AUG.
Sidearm- Walther P99 / Beretta M9

Group pic.

That’s all for pics. Too bad ALbs and Wayne didn’t make it. We needed more people. We had smoke bombs at our disposal for the entry points. Next time I guess.

It was a good morning of airsofting. Could definitely use a few more people.

That’s all for now. Post any comments on the pics or whatever.

UPDATE

Tuesday, April 11th, 2006 at about 8:02 pm

OK update.

We’ve pretty much decided on thursday.

Patrick
wayne
jerry
me

are the only people who are mostly sure that they can make thursday.

James, do you think you can make it? if you don’t really feel like airsofting it’s all good no worries.
Albs, what about you?? where are you??

The time will probably be Show up between 10 AM to 10:30 AM, and we’ll end before 3:30-4:00PM

Bring the usual stuff,

All your equipment, guns, bbs, gas, batteries, e.t.c.
This time you will need to wear Long pants and preferably long sleeve shirt too. The bushes here can be vicious.
Goggles/eyeprotection
waterbottles
face masks

This time we might add some wild stuff just for fun. Maybe waterbaloons? haha. and I’ll bring a football to see if we can make up some fun games with that too. ;)

I’ll be gone tommorow, so wed. won’t really work. It’s pretty much just thursday, cuz friday will rain.

We have two trails/areas to airsoft at. the new one is a bit farther, and perhaps my brother can assist in giving us rides.

The schedule for the day will loosely be like this:

Airsoft once everyone arrives
around midday take a break, drop stuff off at home and walk to 7 11 to get snacks/slurpees, walk back to my house and watch some tv and chill a bit
and if we still feel like it go back to trail or go to BNO trail to airsoft some more.

our day might end a bit earlier, if we decide not to do a second session.

Again, email me if you need anything or call me.

-daniel

*sigh. I wish JOsh could make this one. Want to see his crazy dual mini AEG action again. haha.
NEXT TIME JOSH NEXT TIME.

OH and another thing, I’ll be taking photos of airsofting again, but this time there’ll also be individual pics and Gun cache pics, so pimp up your guns if you want and dress crazy (terrorist/SWAT/military look like) as much as you can. It’s all good if you can’t but I’ll be posting it all up here so yea, look gnar gnar. haha.

AND there’s a couple new scenarios. I also have a couple items to assist the scenarios. We’ll see when it all goes down.

If there isn’t enough people or it flash flood pours on thursday morning, I might cancel it. I’ll call everyone to confirm . If you have any questions at all, call my cell. 760 812 0627. Rain is highly unlikely right now though.

I’ll call everyone tommorow(wednsday) to confirm unless you’re already on the list or i’ve already spoken to you.

Peace. Take care everyone.
